M4 Ti Millie Alert!!!

Its Black G-10, and probably a Satin finished blade.

Much prefer this to an All Ti folder......

About 230 left to order.

These should go quick.

Was hoping for something not black:(, but I'll still get one:D

You can always swap out the scale easily enough. I'm on the list for a few. Still need to get that all ti framelock too....

I'm on the list for one, but I have to say that I'm a bit confused as to why an even newer Ti Military is being planned when the first one isn't in full production yet.

On that note, is there a set date for the release of the Ti/S30V version yet? I figured it would be out already, but all I keep hearing is maybe December.

I imagine that its very expensive to set up and use the tooling required to make the Ti framelock militaries, the more models they can sell the more costs they will offset?

Just got confirmation from Roger that I am on the list. Coincidentally, I was just recently looking to try out the Military (I've never owned one) and look at what happens to be coming out in 6 months. The timing was perfect.

I just recieved my confirmation email that I'm on the list. Thankfully. This looks to be the absolute apex of the Military design.

By the way, Roger is a great guy to deal with. I've done business with him for years and never a problem. His prices, customer service and integrity should be the envy of many a knife dealer.

Just got confirmation from Roger ( what great service on a Sunday!!!) and they are PE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This sounds like a nearly perfect choice of materials and design. It could turn out to be a great "gentleman's military."

Might this weigh more than a standard military due to the full Ti slab on one handle side? I suppose you will save a bit of weight by scrapping the liner, but I am sure Ti is considerably heavier than G-10. All in all I am pumped to get a millie in M4. This one sounds like a keeper.

+1 (or more)

Roger is a prince. Roger, his wife, staff and KW are the best.

"What is it about a part Ti, part G-10 Millie that attracts you? "

Traction & style.....

BTW I love my early BG42 Seb.

This is a special run funded by Roger at KW.
500 will be made. Not a Spyderco run, but special order for KW.

The cool thing is, this one stemmed from a 1 hr conversation Roger and I had about 9 months ago. He actually wanted to know what I thought folks would want.

Only difference is I recommended tip up & CF.
But can easily live with this config.
(Easy enough to move clip on a Ti scale)
Other than that Its a dead ringer as to what I described!

Really happy it is being made!

Not trying to steel any credit, but this is the one we talked about!

May need more that the two I have on order!

What a great knife!

Probably will be a satin finish. Will know for sure next week.

In for 2 of these... I can't believe that they're making this!

Titanium frame lock... grippy G-10 on the non-lock side.... 4mm thick flat ground CPM-M4... this is arguably the toughest hard-use large folder that Spyderco has produced to date.

Save them nickels ;)

That flimsy looking (I'm sure it's tough as hell and it's all only in my mind) linerlock was the only thing stopping me from buying a Military,,,

This thread is worthless without pics guys. Anyone have any pics ? Damn ! 6 months is a very long time !

I have no problem and never will have a problem with my liner lock millies. But this RIL CPM-M4 is like a dream come true!! Can't wait to get pics for this one.
