I believe all M9's except for the ones made in Spain, stated on the blade, are made at Buck. Good find...
Don, Lan-Cay and Ontario Knife make the M9 now. They picked up where/when Buck left off. Not sure of the years. Preston

First 188 will have 103 pages of color. Then black and white mass sales then ebook a few years down the line but ebook will be mostly color.Awesomes news since the first book!
Congrats!
One question regarding the book.
Since the regular soft cover version is largely black and white,
Would the downloadable electronic version be in color
Exactly like the special autographed edition,
presuming there would be one?
And what about having a hard copy pdf formatted cd-rom version of both books in the future?
Just wondering...
Great question. Buck actually won the contract ( at first I thought Buck lost however Jeff Hubbard a Buck knives has detailed information on this and set me straight ) BASICALLY the problem with the contract was ( correct me if I’m wrong JeffI have read, we'll find out for sure when Rich's book comes out, that when Buck didn't get the contract for the M9's, other than 2500 for field trials, Ontario made roughly 10,000 until Lan-Cay finally was awarded the full contract of 100,000 +...Also there are two or three different tang stamps of the Lan-Cay's?? I don't know why?
