I'm new to swamp rat, although I own a few busse's. This blade looks awesome and I think I will make it my first :thumbup: I was just wondering what the width of this knife is and also if it is as much longer than the original proto as it looks to be? The info on the original said 8 11/16". Unless the pic is deceiving the new model seems to be more than just the 1/4" longer it would be at 9". Can anyone help me on this? Thanks

The M9 LE will have a 9" blade length (approx) The pic makes it look longer but it will be approx 9" on the production blades. I hope that helps

I'm not Eric, but by my ruler-to-the-screen view, it appears to be 2" wide/thick/tall. Pretty much a BM configuration.

I think this'll need a good lanyard too. Just to hang onto it when chahppin.
