I know this might be sacreligious but I think I'm starting to prefer My leatherman to my saks...THe saks are great.. But the locking straight and serrated blades on the wave are awesome plus having pliers handy has unexpectedly saved my bacon several times.
The mora clipper has the advantage of being as light as most neckers, yet still longer blade...The one my wife got me last Christmas (carbon) is currently the only mora I own. I've used it harder than I've used most of my knives..Ive batoned hard wood, and done heavy carving with it.. it still is hair popping and has never touched a stone.. just a strop.the blade is a bit rusty as I cut myself real good with it a couple of months back, and just through it (covered in blood) in the sheath..and went to the hospital I remembered it the next day and took it out to wash it but it had already developed a riley patina..
Tony that is a hot setup...there are some really nice tools swimming around this place, and alot of knowledgable and friendly folks. I love this place.
