Some good looking material....Some absolutely beautiful vintage rag micarta (1960-70's) from Michigan on a new model skinner I have been working on in Magnamax...old meets new.

Thank you!3.2 inch blade. 7 inches overall.

I love that bead! The Micarta on this one and the larger 610 Rukus began to darken up almost immediately just from handling after I scrubbed both knives extensively. They've both gotten a bit blotchier since, but they've each got a lot of years and miles behind them, so they're gonna look the way they look and I'm really fine with that. I suspect they'll soon resume their former darker appearance as they both get carried and handled a lot.
The bead is mostly vintage Westinghouse canvas Micarta with Jade G10 ends capped with the same Micarta and copper separators and tube.

Thanks--I do too! I really like JHue's work and have accumulated a number of his beads in the last few years. His stuff is pricey, but the workmanship, design, and materials are all top shelf. His beads are mostly on the large side, so they need to go on bigger knives. Fortunately, I favor both.I love that bead!
