Mad Wildenez skilz yo ????

Thius joke was a spur-of-the-moment thing by Spark. Yes, we all took off on it because it was downright silly, and it spiraled almost out of control. :D And the oxymoron of using the most urban lanuguage for the most non-urban subject makes me laugh. :D

I for one, hate the gangsta thing, too. When I was 19, I had a close friend killed in a case of mistaken identity by these types of a**holes. We were in the wrong place, wrong time. It took me a long time to deal with holding my friend, who was convlusing but already dead, and trying to get him to "wake the hell up!" because I wanted him to still be alive -- badly. That kind of thing never, ever leaves you. It stays forever.

Members here must understand that we tend towards sarcastic humor/good-natured ribbing in this forum - all meant without disrespect.

However, Jeff H makes a valid point. Even if we do not agree with some who think this is not funny, their feelings are legitimate either way and we have no business telling them how they should feel, nor devalue their feelings because of it. When we do that, we move from humor into disrespect.

My $.02

Personally I don't give a rodents rectum what the name is and I have a pretty good sense of humor. Unfortunately humor is subjective and my opinion is, it's just not funny. Hearing and or reading speech like that is outright annoying and portrays a level of ignorance that is not reflective of this forum and it's members.

Here is a joke that is actually funny and offensive....enjoy

A priest and a rabbi are walking past an alley and at the end is a naked boy. So the priest says "let's screw him" and the rabbi replies "out of what?"

What made it funny? Why? What is the context? I have a good sense of humor, but saw nothing funny in the name. Even if it was funny once, can you honestly say it was funny the second and third times?

Might not be AS funny, but I still chuckle, especially when the offended wont let it go. Best thing to do if you dont like something is pay it no mind, and eventually it will fade away. Kinda like hypercolor shirts and new kids on the block.

ras, what made it funny to me was just how unexpected it was, and everybody, stopping, clearing their eyes to make sure they weren't seeing things, then going "Wait...what?"

It really was ....nothing....

Ah, finally, "Normality Restored."

I have to say though, it was hilarious for it's improbability. But it's nice to have normality back.

I agree that it was nothing. There may be some humor in folks trying to convince themselves it was funny. But there was no humor in the ghetto slang. Maybe in person with an audible it could have been funny once depending on the delivery, but as a forum title, its humor was lost in seconds.

I hear, I understand, and I respect your viewpoint.

The most important thing here is, let's not waste too much time, energy, and emotion talking about something that was nothing. It's done.

Now this is funny!

A husband and wife are shopping at their local Wal-Mart and the husband picks up a case of Budweiser and puts it in their shopping cart.

'What do you think you're doing?' asks the wife.

'They're on sale, only $10 for 24 cans,' he replies.

'Put them back, we can't afford them,' demands the wife and so they carry on shopping.

A few aisles further on along the woman picks up a $20 jar of face cream and puts it in the shopping cart.

'What do you think you're doing?' asks the husband.

'Its my face cream. It makes me look beautif ul,' replies the wife.

Her husband retorts: 'So does 24 cans of Budweiser and its half the price.

Geeze, I got it, I thought it was funny. Where's the sense of humor?

"Her husband retorts: 'So does 24 cans of Budweiser and its half the price." LOL, now that's funny!

If the concept of satire needs to be explained to you, perhaps the joke went over your head. Regardless, the majority saw it as it was intended, a light hearted break from the norm. There were even people who got the deeper meaning about humor in survival situations & the importance of being able to adapt and take things in stride.

Not all jokes are funny to everyone. Sometimes though, some people go out of the way to not have fun. Sorry the temporary title change pissed on your wheaties.

This was not funny. And its very language portrays us all in a bad light. Because I personally find it offensive, I am going to rant at every other joke that shows up and stamp my feet until the mods change it, all the while insulting forum members' intelligence and ability. True outdoorsmen would never post such a joke...*

*Insert disclaimer here...I just got off work and don't wanna...

Better than being a dumbass, right?

Thank you, thank you, thank you...I'm here all week :D

By the way...how does the saying go?

"Better to be thought a crybaby, bedwetting pansy than to post in BF and prove it to be true?"

OMG. I can't believe how upset some guys are over this hahaha.. This has made it even more funny..
