Made my first knife... Now what?

My knife arrived back from Danbo yesterday evening.
I haven't had time to do much with it yet, but my preliminary (and unscientific) tests seem to be encouraging, looks like it's worked ok :D

Danbo, if you're reading this, check your visitor messages.
I tried to email you, but I got a 'failure to deliver' notification.

Get to finishing that lil butterknife! ;) :)

As for whether or not it worked, we'll see. I did two normalizing cycles, then soaked the blade at 1475 for about 10 minutes in my Evenheat oven and full quenched it into Parks 50. Assuming an all high carbon steel file, this should've gotten the blade harder than a woodpecker's lips. Now, my oven takes FOREVER to drop back down to 400-425 for tempering, and I don't like to risk blades cracking while sitting fully hardened, so I devised some method of stress relief until the oven drops down to tempering temps. I have a stainless steel bread pan full of olive oil, sitting on top of buffet burner heater element, set at about 300 degrees. I put the blade in the warmed olive oil, while the oven dropped in temp. Once the oven got down to 425, I did two tempers of 2 hours each. Blade came out a nice golden color. I think this blade should be just fine.
