Congrats to 22-rimfire who just won the random drawing. :)

We are starting to see these come into our shop and they look great. I would like to give one away.

I am headed to SHOT next week and am going to be putting together a schedule for upcoming Northwoods Knives. I thought you could help me think of some new stuff for the Northwoods line.

To enter, just make a suggestion on this thread. What patterns would you like to see? What is your grail knife that you have always wanted but never can find any more?

If your suggestion has a pic or drawing, it counts as two entries. You can enter as many times as you have real suggestions. :)

I'll draw a winner on Monday, January 19.

If love to see the Madison single with a wharncliffe blade a la the Forrest Jack. I'm pretty new to these so maybe that's already a thing, but I've never seen one.

a Madison working mans knife....something like a slim line trapper or a sodbuster type......wow this is an amazing giveaway..thanks for the chance

I'd love to see a sod buster "entry level" style. Maybe in a lockback and regular.

Thanks for the chance, Derrick.

I'd like to see a Northwoods EO jack based on the #85 pattern!

Maybe even with a cap lifter secondary!

WOW ... How do I turn this down. Not only a chance to win a beauty, but to have a chance at influencing a Northwoods knife. Thank you!

The first one the comes to mind is the scout. If we can get this going, maybe we can get the cost of it lowed for the 15 forum knife. 1095 with either a peach seed jigging or african blackwood would be nice.

A second is a smaller version of the Northwoods Barlow with a long match strike pull.
Again, african blackwood or maybe autumn gold sawcut or soup bone.

Derrick thank you for the chance at the beautiful knife, but honestly it is to big for me to carry. I have a feeling more than a few will be entering, so who ever is lucky post 100, please send it to them if I win.

Thank you for the generosity!

Derrick,
thank you for your contribution and generosity. I'll play the game, but this is not an entry.
I think the Schrade 93OT pattern could find a place in the Northwoods line (on GEC's #66 frame, with the turkish clip of the calf roper slim and the sheepsfoot of the stockman - without crinking them of course).

I am in for this awesome and generous give a way:)
I would love to see a northwoods sodbuster! Most any handle material would be fine, though I am partial to nice wood.... I am picturing it with the arrow shield and it would be sooooo nice!

Wow, very generous Derrick! I would love to see a Cattleman pattern, complete with punch, three blades obviously. Clip, Punch and Coping. Also a Jumbo Jack like the old Case 99s! But with a single Clip blade.

And my second suggestion would be a northwoods variation on the mini copper lock! Imagine this knife in stag with the arrow shield, it would look amazing:thumbup:

Awesome GAW Derrick. I'd be partial to a swell end easy open jack, like the #85 mentioned above. A plus if it had a sheepsfoot main and Appaloosa scales. Like these 3 had a kid -

A Northwoods Cattle barron in ebony as a choice.

The cattle barron patern from Northfield is one of my favorites. Harder to find

Really how can I say no? I've been thinking about my old Madison barlow a lot lately. I would love to see a big coke bottle...clip point blade, long pull, ebony or bocote covers, a shiny bowtie sheild, something along that train of thought! This is a fanatstic give away, thank you Derrick! The photo was taken from Jaysknives.com :)

Very generous, thanks Derrick!

Hmmmmmm..... A Northwoods scout knife? Full sized with a long pull and a bail? I'll take 2 :).

Northwoods coke bottle would also be neat. Large or small, but with stamped bolsters.

A Norfolk Half Whittler would be my choice.
Thank you for the chance and enjoy SHOT.
