Madison Barlow Give Away. ***Winner***

Thanks Derrick for a great giveaway.

I would like to see a ivory and blue camel bone cap lifter with a clip blade.

Based purely on my personal biases, I want to see smaller patterns with half stops, specifically small pen and half congress models. Because Northwoods has made its name in recent times with fancy covers like ele/mammoth/etc., it'd be great to see smaller/tip bolsters to maximize the real estate. As the ivory becomes more questionable in availability/legality, maybe we could see a revival of real MOP to appeal to the same kinds of high-end clientele.

Here is what I would love to see in a 3.25" pen knife -- a return to the truly slim proportions of old Sheffield. Versions in a 3-blade whittler and a 4-blade congress also feasible. Imagine it with MOP, densely figured stag, or scratted bone, high polished blades, and a Northwoods stamped blade in old copperplate font. Northwoods has made its name with some solid working patterns like the big beautiful Barlow on display here, but you proved with the Norfolk releases that there was also a market for the small gent's pen knife.

Thanks for the chance!

Awesome GAW Derrick! I'd love to see a new run of the #1 scagel or a clipped version of the knife. I would absolutely love a Bullnose done up all pretty in Northwoods, but I'm probably dreaming there!

I'm in thanks for the opportunity, I think you already hit a home run with the Fremont jack, but I would also like to see a camp knife (Boy scout knife) in camel bone!

Hi Derrick. Thanks for a generous GAW! I would like to see a Sway Back Jack with a long pull sheepsfoot main at 3 3/8" closed length.
Here is an old NYNK Swayback

I would love to see a GEC 66 with a muskrat clip and sheepsfoot on one end (same side nail nicks) and a punch on the opposite end.

Autumn gold and blood red peachseed jigged bone.

I like onespdfrk's idea but want to add on that smooth bone or wood is important for *this* whittler, and that instead of the clip on the left there should be a pen, and decent sized sheepfoot, and that perfect blade on the right!

(I know it's probably cheatin' to use your photo onespdfrk, but I'm brainstorming here, so forgive me in advance, 'cause I really like what you did and am trying to illustrate what I mean. You ALMOST got it right! :D) Even if we don't win, maybe we can have some input on a whittler...

Oh, what about an old English Jack pattern, fashioned like the thin and profiled Presidential! Even put a fine looking Washington bolster on the top and no bolster on the butt end.

As a couple have said, EO 85 PLEASE!

Also, I have no idea if it's ever been made, but swayback jack with an EO would also be SWEET! THANKS FOR THE OPPORTUNITY!

1) A 3.25 to 3.5 inch (closed length) small trapper with a sheepfoot and a spey. Smooth ramshorn for a handle.
2) A 66 pattern with the same blades above and handle material

Thanks for the chance, Derrick. I hope your schedule for upcoming Northwoods Knives includes another run of Burnside Jacks!

I'd really like to see you make a two blade single spring model like the White Owl or Conductor with a spear point main like the Burnside and a small sheepsfoot or coping secondary.

Thanks for the generous give away and the chance for a beautiful knife!

Well we've seen the doglegs, sleeveboards, equal ends, whittlers and many other cool patterns come out of the Northfield brand lately but we haven't seen a swell center moose with maybe a sheepfoot main and pen secondary.

Derrick......Please...Please...Please.....We need a 3 3/4" (not too big, not too small) Coke Bottle Pattern. Would love to see a single and double blade model. How about a clip main with a coping secondary for the double blade.

Since I have owned one of the Gladstone produced Cotton Samplers before what about that? Put a new spin on it with a lower profile on the blade.

Thanks for the great GAW Derrick. I really would like to see something built on the line of the GEC 77 frame with EO, a real nice sawcut bone on a light color, and a high end stainless. The cpm154 on the IRJ is great but, cross some new boundaries and go for S30v, elmax, or  M390.

I'd like to see a beefed up, Northwoods take on the 85 pattern, EO or otherwise, long-pull spear. And a beefed up, Northwoods take on the 47 swayback.

Long time lurker and pretty much no postings because I don't have much of a collection like many members. However, I'd love to see the Bullet Jack come back and like others have said, a scout knife would be great with the North woods shield and some jigged scales. Thanks for the giveaway op!
