Madison Barlow Give Away. ***Winner***

Oh boy, you bet I'm in!

Since my hands-down favorite Northwoods pattern is the Fremont, I would love to see a 3 blade, 2 spring whittler pattern. The sleeveboard frame is already setup just perfect. If the main had to be shortened just a smidge, that's OK, although it's an excellent whittlin profile as-is.

Quick & dirty, but gets the point across:

Another pattern I have seen is a large steel toenail. Even bigger than the Northfield. Like a grandad sunfish. They appear to be like cigars on steroids.

I have seen them in adds, and at first they look like a cigar, but they are wider, with wider blades.

I believe they were made in the shorter 50 pattern, and the 51 longer equal end.

First one was the entry but I'm totally in agreeance that a Northwoods scout knife would be sweet... With linen micarta scales in assorted colors....

I want a jackknife with a Warnie main blade and a small clip blade. Checkered wood handles would make it simply perfect.

An absolutely terrific giveaway. Thank you very much for your generosity.

Since I'm obsessed with the Dogleg Whittler, I'd like to see one with Dark Green Jigged Bone. Or maybe a Norfolk Whittler with the some type of blade etching on the Wharncliffe.
If there isn't a current logo or etching design, maybe have a contest and have BF forum members submit designs for your approval.

hi Derrick.
I would love to see something similar to the Schrade Old Timer Buzz Saw. i really love this pattern.

thanks very much for this giveaway. that Northwoods Madison Barlow is beautiful. good stuff.

What is your grail knife that you have always wanted but never can find any more?

My other dream knife, that's proven more difficult to find than I ever thought, is a single blade gunstock pattern with a spear point blade. Long bolsters like the Madison would be an added bonus!!

My grail knife would be 66 serpentine jack valley green jig bone 661210j.

Knife i would like to see is a med/large stockman or sowbelly with Spey on one end and punch/clip on the other with carbon blades.

Thanks for the chance.
Dave

That is a gorgeous knife, thanks for the opportunity. My favorites are the old fashioned Boy Scout knives with a can opener and bottle opener along with the main blade (and maybe penknife blade).

I like Fausto's idea for a jack on a #66 size. Blue camel bone would be great. Also a vote for onespdfrk's whittler idea!

Also an easy open bullet jack please!

I'm in and would love to see a slim sodbuster with nice wood scales similar to the madison barlow posted. I would also be interested to see something similar to a case mini copperlock, single clip blade, with or without the backlock, with bone scales.

Derrick, a fantastic GAW!!! I'll 2nd either the Scout or Cattle King suggested already:thumbup:

Thank you for the chance:)

I would like to see a saddle horn single blade style, a little larger than Case, with ironwood scales and long stainless bolsters.

Very generous GAW. Count me in!

Not sure why there isn't a production version of a Lannys clip but I just love the look of it. That or a north woods Soddy of some sort!

Derrick,
thank you for your contribution and generosity. I'll play the game, but this is not an entry.
I think the Schrade 93OT pattern could find a place in the Northwoods line (on GEC's #66 frame).

This would make for an amazing knife!!! I would also love to see a single blade gunstock made on the GEC 76 frame. A single clip or spey would look nice I think.

Excellent GAW, thanks for the opportunity. I would have to say a 5 1/4" coke bottle hunter with sabre ground clip , match strike long pull with the Northwoods logo deep etched on the blade. Clad in either a rich brown bone, ebony or stag.

Thankyou for your amazing generosity. How could I pass this one up? I would love to see a Norfolk peanut with some nice wood scales and maybe a sheepsfoot secondary instead of the pen.
