Magnacut 119

No! 😯
Well that's a first!

I guess you could always just return it and get your money back.
God forbid you flip it here on a knife forum the day after it sells out.

😉
and thats cause.......then he couldn't get all his money back as he'd be out shipping cost back......so figures he'll "help" someone here and get all his money back.......maybe even pocket a couple bucks after shipping and insured costs.

guess nice thing to say is least he didn't try to double his money......

I also should say some a******, scue my bad language, has it listed on ebay for 335 plus 8 plus dollars shipping. this guy here is being very reasonable and only getting all his money back..not taking big profits like that eBay j****** guy.

He wasn't egregious.

I love flippers excuses for moving knives along right after they got it though. Just opened it up

It's just not for me
It's too small
It's too big
I spent too much this month
I'm chasing a grail

This after you know 100, 200, 300+ transactions on here and elsewhere.

First... I agree with the negativity towards the ebay douchebags trying to double their money. You may be surprised to find those folks are members here and even BCCI members.

As to the cat who listed it in the exchange, what difference does it make if the guy lists it the day it sells out, or 5 months / years in the future if all he's doing is getting his money back?

I mean, if you wanted one and missed the opportunity to buy direct why is he the bad guy?

Some idiot harped on me about making a $1 profit on a BOTM. This person thought i should sell it to him for the same price Buck would have. But this person has no idea what I paid in sales tax to Buck, or what insured shipping to a buyer might be.

I say if you're not happy with someone recouping their investment without price gouging, get in your time machine and go buy one from Buck. Otherwise you've got no place getting on someone's back about it.

<end rant>

Mine arrives on Saturday and I'm planning on keeping it. Never owned a 119 before, figured my first might as well be in Magnacut.
My only "grails" left are a Magnacut 110 and 101. I'm a simple man with simple tastes.

Your right.
Fortunately, it's a free country and opposing opinions are all welcome.

It's his knife, and he can do whatever he wants.

Myself I would avoid the practice of reselling it on this forum in that manner so as to avoid the ire we all share for flippers.
It lacks class in my opinion.
But that's me.

Respectfully,
Gary.

I’m guessing 2 were purchased and trying to sell one for a small profit to lower the price on the keeper. Just guessing though.
I have one in 3v and pondered buying a magnacut. Researched 3v vs. magnacut and decided imo 3v is good enough for me. And I’ve been spending to much $$$ on knives lately.
But I am looking for a 120 in 5160 if anyone has a lead on one.

Was there ever a 120 made in 5160?
It would be cool if there was.

After I looked at it again his price is cheaper then I could have bought it for from Buck. My tax is 7%.
Unless price was edited?

Not much of a secondary market on this magnacut. A lot on ebay, probably a bad investment for the profit scalpers.

Oh that's not the bad one, when I looked yesterday I scrolled down a bit and one guy was asking $495.00....free shipping though, lol!
