Magnacut when?

From testing I have seen S45VN might hold an edge slightly longer.

Is that at a similar hrc? IIRC, Tim was talking about pushing Magnacut to 63-64 for the folders in one of the SHOT show interviews. That seems like it would be a noticeable upgrade in edge retention from previous steels they have used.

Now that social media has livened up many hobbies including knives ( a lot of sales in the past 2 years) I think we will see more new steels coming. When S30V came out we all found out via print magazines. Now we have knife steel nerds and makers doing podcasts etc
