Appologies if this is verging on spamming, however, it seemed like a question that was rising in another thread that was suitably different to merit another thread.
If it's verging on spamming sorry, I'm just maybe a little too eager to place my order and want to get my first busse right
I've settled on urban grey w/ Black canvas handles hopefully with a sterile blade, however the last remaining choice is magnum vs 'standard' tac slabs.
I've spent the past hour or so trawling the busse forum looking for info and pics of the magnum grips and I love the look of the contours of the grips, but I'm not sure if they're required or best suited to the size of the BATAC.
My hands are a rather small size 8 (approximately a size small in Hatch gloves) and as such I'm a little concerned by what the name 'magnum' might imply.
From what I've seen it looks as if the grips taper to thinner than a normal slab and swell to slightly wider, meaning in points you have a narrower choke on the knife than a 'standard' grip and in the center of your grip, you have a palm swell that should fill your hand.
Unfortuantely I find it very difficult to gauge how large these grips are overall and as such have no idea if they'll fit my rather small mitts
Add to that, I'm kinda curious if the magnum handle is best suited to this kind of knife? And maybe if the standard handle offers more dexterity at the expense of less grip or some such?
Sorry if this comes off as a stream of concious, only I always assume that with high quality knives such as busse everything is there for a reason, and following the logic, the standard grips might have some benefit I'm not seeing (maybe they're just easier to carry or fit people with small hands like mine more comfortably).
Any help as always much appreciated.
Cheers
