Magnum vs 'standard' slabs - BATAC

We need someone with an LE and standard SJTAC to post side by side spine shots. Pleeeeeaaaasse :D
 
I didnt order Magnums on the FBM becuase I think the thickness of the blade makes up for the regular handles in grip. I have owned a Hellrazor with magnums and liked them alot. I just called the shop this morning and changed my order to tan magnums from regular. Im one of the guys who ordered quickly and didnt notice the magnums lower down.

Dunner, heres a pic the DC SJtac with a reg one. Im not sure how much thicker the HOGSJTac is over the DC one.

Is that two sets of regular grips on an LE thickness blade and a regular one?
 
Thanks a TON for posting that pic! Yes. I believe you are correct. Standard slabs on .22" INFI and .187" INFI. That honestly makes the difference seem even smaller to me.
 
Aye, the difference really looks rather minor.

Now I'm really confused :-/

Cheers for the pics gimmejr. Lovin' the details of the grips, all the grains are what really makes me prefer micarta over the g10.

That and the workshop here has bucket loads of G10 knocking about for handles on equipment so I guess it's not so .... exotic (if that's the right word) for me anymore :/
 
The grips on both of those are the same size the difference is in the thickness of the steel. The left is snakeskin the right is black.
