Magnum Warcraft Tanto

I just got my magnum warcraft. It is forward-weighted, but not excessively so - balance point is about 1.5" in front of the plunge line. Except for the tip, the blade shape is similar to many modern golok interpretations, and I expect it to perform well in the field. It's not going to out-chop a SYKCO 1311, but it's a lighter, smaller package that should be a versatile large field blade.

F&F is not outstanding, particularly the fit of the handle scales, but I don't expect that to be a practical issue in use, and at the price point I got it (just over $200), I have no complaints.

Ive used mine and it's chops very well out of the box. It goes thru 2 inch branches like it's nothing.

Just curious, does anyone has both the Magnum Warcraft and the older Magnum Tanto XII? How do they compare? Was wondering whether to go for the Magnum Warcraft or wait for the yet to be release 3V Magnum Tanto XII...

You folks that bought the MWT, do you have any updates or thoughts now that you're a month or more in? Have you had a chance to get out and use it? How has the edge held up? Thanks for the info in advance!

I used mine to cut branches of a tree in my yard. It cuts well. It was going thru 2 and 3 inch branches in one swing. The edge was not damaged and it is still sharp.

Is the blade a flat or hollow grind down to the edge?

The Warcraft is flat ground. And if you look around, it can be found for not much more than $200. That's pretty good for 12" of 3V.
