Ryan,

I cant decide which of yours I
Like more the flat ground or
The hollow ground one ! ...
Are these knives for anything
Special like a auction of fund
Riser or just a fun collabo ?

I know Jason has some stuff in the works and should be great as Jason always is. No special reason, just for fun!

Another quick update, I am ready to send the blade back to Jason for the HT and Clean up. I decided to "Coin" the German Silver disks, the coining is still very rough at this stage.

that is coming together nicely!

I like the way this handle is coming together Ryan. The coining was a good idea. Let's hope Jason doesn't mess up his part!:D;)

Thanks H&M, Frank and Steve... the blade is shipping back to Jason today for HT and finish, I spoke to Jason yesterday He has been swamped with school but he will be sending the two back to me on monday. I will take some photos when they arrive and I get finishing them as well.

Both Ryan and I have gotten a little side tracked and fallen behind on this project (we're working on Knifemaker Time instead of regular time) but I finally managed to get the blade on the dirk heat treated and all finished up.

I snapped a couple of quick pics with my phone before I mailed it off to Ryan today.

The other two knives are currently waiting for Ryan to heat treat and finish the blades so I can do the handles. Since he made me two to play with I am going a bit wild with one and making it into a sort of polearm! I've got a five foot stick of pomelle bubinga and a blued steel S guard for it. Maybe it'll be cool, maybe it'll be stupid but either way it's going to be a fun project and a great piece to get attention with at a show.
