My kids try that logic on me all the time. They say, "But 'so-and-so' did it first!"
My reply to them, "Be a leader, not a follower... and we don't blame other people for our own poor choices."

I think it’s a bit dramatic to liken the remark to “poor choices”. It was just a little crude humor. We’re all big boys. We can laugh or we can ignore it. Complaining just brings more laughs.

You know this could be like a litmus test on what WE perceive as "my balls". For all we know he's vigorously rubbing each knife with his lucky baseball and tennis ball. Then it is us who took this into the gutter when all the while Spark was being innocent and hoping to pass his luck and good will onto the recipients knives.
