I can see your point, but I respectfully request you to please reconsider your decision, and move my thread back to the Forum where I originally opened it. All BF.com members are welcome to participate in this charitable project as that is only fair and very welcome by me, however... Although the thread is mainly off topic, it is not completely off topic to the Busse Combat Knife Forum. I did ask for some Busse knife pix and posted some too, in anticipation of the upcoming BLADE knife show.. I respectfully use the "Bring on a Death Chat" thread as a precedent for threads being somewhat off topic, but still allowed to remain in the BCK Forum.

Then again....if this had stayed in the Busse Forum(?) I would never have read it. (No offense to you Busse knife lovers.) I'm not big on cats, only because I'm terrifically allergic to them, but I love dogs of all kinds and my wife and I have six at home right now. Two of them are adopted from our local animal shelter. Of the six we have, the two adoptees are the most loving and appreciative of all our dogs. You can't go wrong adopting a pet, or trying to help any good shelter organisation, so I'm in. My wife hasn't been able to work for some time, now and we're on one income, but I'll swing as much as possible to help out. Good for you and your efforts and matching contribution, Jaxx.

I was nervous about this 'meeting', between my cat and my Mistress, but was able to snap this pic before quietly removing the knife before she got any FRIENDLIER with it! Whew!
The dog below belongs to a friend and he is also a rescue dog. After being mistreated and left to die in a burning trailer, he beat the odds and survived... And at the hands of several nice people, he recovered and was then adopted by a very kind woman who adores him. He is awesome, and I felt compelled to photo him. His name is Zeus, and he really got into being photo'd In the B&W photo, I felt that his eyes had a lot to say and I'm honored to have 'heard' it. :thumbup:

After considerable thought I think it belongs back in the Busse Forum. As noble as it is I have a strict "no knife content" policy in Community. Pics of of cute dogs and cats don't change that.
I should also note that this sort of post should have had approval from Spark before it was intitiated. As well intentioned as it may be this thread constitutes solicitation of funds from BFC members and should have been submitted for approval. In light of this I am temporarily locking this thread until I hear otherwise from Spark.
