Fear governs most people into still isolation.........the mind shuts down.........successes slow......depression.......a bleak out look on the future..........then you hear about the liberal religion where all you have to do is "care" about other people but not actually do anything just have an opinion and narrow your mind around that.......then your life has value because your opinions and thoughts and money and good nature elected someone who only cares about power..........the power to send IRS agents after someone 8 times because this person won't allow the government to make him afraid........Thank You Mr. Emerson.
 
Liberals are two big thumbs down... Most BF members don't know pain, until they live right in the heart of liberal California haha. My political science college class is just a bunch of liberals talking crap about conservatives and rich people 😒 always emphasizing black lives matter. You can tell who the lib kids are. Skinny jeans, dyed messy hair, piercings all over the body... It's even funnier when the guys are 6'2 or something, 240lbs and into this style.

I am a social liberal. Meaning I lean towards individual rights. I have always believed that people should be allowed to do, read, worship, ingest etc.. as long as they do not infringe on the rights of others. I am against any type of restrictions of free speech etc.

Using the word liberal as a broad term takes away from those of us that back up business and people like Emerson. Thing is, there is just as mush attacks to people liberties from the right as there is from the left. Just different rights are being eroded. The right imposes just as many laws that force people to bend to their ideals as the left does.....

That is why I am registered as "does not state"......I do not believe in the complete platforms of any party.
 
With all due respect, that is just not true (that the right imposes just as many laws that force people to bend to their ideals as the left does). "Left" = more government; "Right" equals less government. Not to be confused with Democrat Party / Republican Party, which both want more government.

Well the right generally votes for republicans and the left generally votes for democrats.

Yup. Instead of worrying about what the "right" or the "left" or "Republicans" or "Democrats" believe or vote for, let's talk about what we believe, without the labels, and push our representatives and elected officials to do what we think the country needs.

Demonizing other Americans on the basis of our own misconceptions of what they really think is a waste of effort. Do't tell them what they think, tell us what you think -- what policy, what program, what action to take.

That's what Emerson did in this thread, told us what he intends to do about a problem.

Very very few understand or can even comprehend, or just don't care what our founding fathers intended, even though it is pretty clear in what they wrote. Pretty much no one that holds office in Washington.
 
Very sorry to hear this, but I feel your pain. I have 4 IRS audits going on right now. As a conservative small business owner I have nothing to hide, but it sucks that I have had to pay out additional expenses for lawyer fees, CPA fees, etc., not to mention the time I have invested. One of the audits has been going on since 2010 and involves an employee retirement plan. The IRS knows that in most cases it is cheaper for the defendant to pay the fees, fines, and penalties than it is to pay the lawyer fees.

BTW - My wife and daughter attended a Tea Party event, but I'm sure that had nothing to do with it.:grumpy::mad:

On the Bright Side...I Love my CQC 8 :thumbup: and the people who appreciate fine knives and guns
