Makers delivery times

Nick and I had a very pleasant conversation. I am now confident that Nick will be making me my knife, and I am willing to give him the leeway he will require to make this knife to the best of his abilities. Anthony's post about putting a maker under the gun really registered with me.

I do a great deal of research before choosing a maker. It is true that I don't get to handle a lot of makers knives, but before I order, I have done enough reasearch to be confident in the quality and honesty of the makers I have make me knives. Having never been disappointed, I am either too easy to please, or I have done my homework.

Nick, I really do hope that you are able to come to point that you can get knives made on a regualar basis. It would be good for you, and good for collectors as well.

Don't forget to add me to your list. I think (hope) my knife is waiting for delivery but you need to respond to my emails so I can pay you.

I'd call but I am on the other side of the Atlantic and several timezones away.
