All in all...the Jasco works. You need to give it more dwell time than the old coating. I gave it an hour total. Came off pretty easily, though alot more goopy. The edges and inside I cleaned out with at fine point xacto knife. Got some of that crap on the inside of my forearm...holy hell that stuff burns. Got to the sink with the quickness.


Finished. Polished as far as as I can get it with 1200grit wet/dry. The last pic with the wrap has a bit more polish. Now, with the wrap (which still works with the sheath) it feels perfect.
