Latest collaboration with my son. A small boot sized dagger with rosewood handles and brass pins. The rosewood had a knot that ended up having some cracks, but otherwise it shaped up nicely—much easier than the ironwood. The blade in this one was a bit more uniformly made, too.
My dad made me this one a few years back, he was probably 83 or 84 at the time…still going strong (dad and knife)…oh yeah, he made sheath too with a strop on the back.
