Mammoth fighter

This is wonderful. I love the blade geometry... and the set of skills required to do the rest is humbling.

Lovely to behold. Real Jewelry quality from a most talented artist. Thank You for showing it here.

Thank you all!
It took me about a month to make the knife and the sheath working for a few hours almost every night and weekend.

That was going to be my first question.

I imagine it's hard to set stones on a knife.

Very well done. You played to your strengths and made a beautiful fighter. The details are exquisite, but subtle enough to blend into the overall concept. It's baby bear soup... just right.

Thanks!
Actually, all photos were taken indoors with just daylight. Of course, good lenses help a lot.

Wow that is outstanding. I don't think I have words for that. Looks like it is fit for a king.

If you look up "Museum Quality" in an encyclopedia, those pictures should be there. Definitely fit for a king.

Not keen on the inlaid stones, but to each his own.
Everything else gives the impression of a beautiful knife with flowing elegant lines.

I have to add my kudos like everyone else. As fine a knife as I have ever seen. I have seen a lot of knives. Vlad, you are a Master.

Thank you all! Special thanks to BladeScout for a critique. I have to admit that you are right.

wow.

I would absolutely love to see a WIP of something like this. I cannot imagine the painstaking detail of making the handle.

Stunning, museum quality work and very inspiring.
Beading like that has been on my list of things to learn for some time.
