This is from an email reply from the mothership to me, asking about a possible stop of using mammoth:

"You heard correctly in that we are no longer taking orders on Mammoth Ivory or Mammoth Bark. It is getting harder to source and the laws are becoming more restrictive regarding the sale and use of it."

That was in July 2014. They have been fulfilling pending orders while their stock lasted. Meanwhile I think they are finished with mammoth.

It is so sad that I was late in the game when I decided to get a Mammoth Bark Inlaid Sebenza. Even sadder is the fact that it is just so hard to get a hold of an Annual Sebenza with this inlay without breaking the bank.

In any case, I was still fortunate to have purchased my first one from TNK a few months ago. It is a very simple looking but clean Caramel Mammoth Bark Inlay. Best thing was, this one is a new - old stock and it's also a pre-idaho one.. :)

That was a nice score ice man. I seen it on TNK when I was browsing then seen the price and hesitated. Should have done it...either way I got and ivory from a local shop.
 
Sadly I missed out on the mammoth and waited too long as I was busy buying other CRK......ugh.
 
I waited too long as well, so I had to find most of mine on the used marketplace.

Thanks bud! Yeah it was up there for quite awhile. And I purchased it twice. First one I decided to have it refunded coz I wanted a large one.

Then after a few days, ultimately decided to just get it. No regrets here... [emoji16]

Beautiful and pretty rare piece. I saw this on the Mnandi obsession thread.. and my jaw just dropped...
 
There is a beautiful bark mnandi with ladder damascus on one of the sites...just can't pull myself to spend almost 900 sticker tag.
