If you want to use it, you'll no doubt be happy with it--a great design, to be sure.
Compared to the Manix 2; it's heavier, bigger, and with a Mid-back-lock instead of the CBBL. The Manix 2 lockup is solid and reliable, but to be honest doesn't feel that satisfying; the original lockbar system gives a hefty "chunk!" sound when it locks. This is nothing to sneeze at, it really feels great.
If you're hoping to cash in on the scarcity of this model, though... best sell it before Sal confirms a more specific timeframe for a sprint run of this model, and best don't carry it enough to cause any wear. If you keep it NIB, and hold out for the right buyer, you should be able to turn it for a very nice profit (depending on what you bought it for.)
Myself, I'd carry it on weekends.
