This is a long time comin'. As @Clanton (Paramilitary) and I (Manix 2) completed our respective collections, he posted a very nice pic of his PM family. And I knew that I needed to do the same. FINALLY, today, I arranged the entire family for a photo op. I believe that I have assembled the entire Manix 2 plain edge family. Some pics below...with the full album HERE.

When I first saw the Manix 2, I didn't like the look of it. Very quickly, however, it grew on me...to the point that I loved it. I think I fell in love when I saw the tan CPM-M4 Manix. Wow! It was a slippery slope from there. Actually, I never thought I had a prayer at the whole collection until I stumbled upon the CF S90V, which I knew would be the hardest to find. Once I secured that one, the last few (orange, blue, and Stag Arms) were easy by comparison.

It was great fun to get them all out and arrange them today for the pic...first time that I saw them all together like this. Beautiful! (But I'm biased...) Enjoy the pics!

Beautiful collection Hannibal! Welcome to the club of owners of the full suite, here's a recent pic of most of my Manix 2 collection. The pink one didn't survive long before I RIT dyed the scales a nice burgundy/maroon color. :)

Now, may I present a version you will now need to find to make your collection truly complete! Behold a FFG 154 CM Manix 2:

This is one of ~20 FFG pilot models made when Eric Glesser and Spyderco were evolving the original back lock Manix 1 to the CBBL Manix 2. Twenty or so hollow grind ones were also made at this time (also marked "pilot"). The hollow grind version won that battle then, but the FFG rallied last year to become the standard configuration. So, there you have it, there's at least one kind left to find (and you thought that S90V one was hard to find ;)). Cheers, DI :)

Awesome collection. I bought one of those for my brother a couple weeks ago, but noticed that it has the black lock buttons yet it has satin hardware. This something new or am I just missing something?

Well, I'll have to revise my description to "all Manix 2 sprints/exclusives" or "all production Manix 2 plain edge knives." ;) I'd be happy to add one of those pilots to the collection, but I don't sweat anything that isn't "production." It's kind of like the ZT 0801FDE!

I also have the full serrated hollow ground 154CM, partially serrated hollow ground satin S30V, and partially serrated hollow ground black S30V...and "more."

Yep, I like the clear ball cage better, which is why I showed that version of the FFG S30V blade, but I also have the very newest version with the black ball cage (which you have pictured above).

 I have to get myself one eventually. I think I like the Manix more than the PM2.

BTW, I really like the black blade with the orange Putman scales!

Where is the second run of the Moonglow Manix? I'm sorry to see that pink Manix dyed red but...to each his own! :D

Very nice! I don't have a great affinity for the UKPK, but I can certainly appreciate that collection!

Which ones are you missing?

Well there are plenty of FRN color variations and grinds etc, but all I want now is an orange G10 version.

I have often wondered why they have a black BBL button on the Cruwear Manix 2 when it has light grey G10 scales, and seemingly most all the other sprints have clear. I think.clear would look cleaner and blend better. I have an early saber 154cm M2 with a clear button and black G10, so I've considered swapping them... but they both function so well as is I've just put off bothering disassembling just for looks.

LOL. I have had many similar thoughts about making swaps among knives...and have hesitated for the very same reason. I would hate to compromise function for aesthetics! I saw someone here put a black pocket clip on the gray Cruwear sprint and that really went nicely with the black ball cage.

Great collection! I think there were only 400 CF/S90V Manix's made.

Thank you. I didn't realize the number was that low! I wish I had been around (i.e. interested in knives) when they were released!

Wow thats an amazing collection of the Manix 2. I want to buy one, i perfer the Black Lightweight one, were is the best place to buy it at?, i was looling at BladeHQ.
