Solid lockup - no blade play in any direction whatsoever & blade centered.

Your guess is as good as mine...it worried me initially, but once completed was not relevant in the locking up.

Might a way to identify the blades before laser marking.

Probably because the S30V can be fine blanked in the finished shape, but the S110V needed to be machined/ground and the notch is an artifact of the process that was used.

Used Shapton Glass stones to 30k spritzed with diamond spray.

Going to use these to rebuild:

how did you make sure your drill bit in your drill press didn't slip off of the rounded rivets? I am thinking at least exchanging my rivets for screws...
