Solid lockup - no blade play in any direction whatsoever & blade centered.

Probably because the S30V can be fine blanked in the finished shape, but the S110V needed to be machined/ground and the notch is an artifact of the process that was used.
 
Please keep us updated if you find some replacement fasteners that could be used to put the FRN handles back together! Thanks

I'd you only have to drill the riots on the one side and then push them out?
How did you get such a beautiful mirror edge? Just gorgeous btw
 
Yes, drill out one side then tap out remainder.

Used Shapton Glass stones to 30k spritzed with diamond spray.

Going to use these to rebuild:

Great job man!

how did you make sure your drill bit in your drill press didn't slip off of the rounded rivets? I am thinking at least exchanging my rivets for screws...
