Punched it very carefully in the center (under a magnifying glass) with a very sharp punch - then first drilled a small pilot hole using a much thinner drill bit.

This is really impressive, and so are your sharpening skills.
A set of Shapton Stones up to 30k is quite an investment.
 
Well now im jealous, thanks alot:D Now I want to get another s110v lw and blade swap it, then if I got some pimped g10 scales it would be the ultimate manix. But thats just a pipe dream for now...
