Manix II CF

Thinking about getting one of these. Looks awesome and really prefer the flat grind. Tnx for pics

I don't like the regular M2 (I'm a Mini Manix fan), but I badly need that baby.

Congrats to Spyderco - the spider venom works again. :D

I can buy and use...and repeat that 5 times with the Tenacious and be right at the cost of this knife.

Is it 5 times better???

Yes. Yes it is.

Not a fan of carbon fiber on a hard use knife. I would have liked more g10!

Have you ever held the textured carbon fiber from spyderco? Like that on the Stretch 2? Because it provides an amazing grip and it is lightweight. IMHO, its an amazing handle material for a hard use knife.

+1. I love the textured CF, and it's a big attraction of this knife to me personally . I got a Stretch II CF last week, the feel in hand from the texturing is what prompted me to order another one (well that and other things i love about the knife), i want to carry this one and keep one nice so i have a spare should it go out of production. Also, the stretch II doesn't wiegh 4.4 oz at all, my scales say bewteen 3 3/4 and 3 7/8 oz. maybe the quoted weight is from the stretch I. I think the density and balance of that knife is just about perfect, great feeling knife.

What CF Manix II?

Oh, Nooooooooooooo.......

I need it. I need it!!

OK, Ok, I don't need it.

I WANT IT!!

Enjoy! ;)

You lucky son of a gun! Congrats on the score!:D:thumbup:
I need one of these right now!:p

Mine is scheduled for delivery on Tuesday, I have a feeling this is going to be one of my favorite Spyderco's!

Oh wow, see now I was down at the spyderco outlet store yesterday, and handled all of the knivesI wanted to and saw this, I really hope it's isn't a limited run, because I can't risk waiting for it to go retail and I can't afford it at retail price, because when i was up there I felt that it was the best spyderco knife I had held in a long time.

Question: Are these knives numbered on the blade? For some reason that really gets to me. Makes me not wanna use the knife. I hate the whole "XXX out of #."

Where are you guys getting them??

[edit]nevermind,I found one & ordered one! :D

I would buy one in a heartbeat if it wasn't for the clear plastic(acrylic ?) ball covers. Is this going to yellow, crack or melt if I get solvent on it ?

Now that is one hell of a user. This knife with the materials of that category is a sure thing bullet proof solution for a EDC folder. Thank you for posting this post so now I could actually start looking for it and trying to get one. :D

Nope, the perfect user. :)

I doubt it, it's not "plastic", it's a high strength polymer. You'd have to get an answer from Sal for more information.
