Really - nothing? Not even recessed partial liners in the pivot area?

Edit: Apparently, there is a small figure eight liner at the pivot. I stand corrected.

The light blue LW Manix 2 has translucent scales, I suppose you can hold it up to the light and see everything inside of there. With liners they wouldn't be translucent.

I didn't even know they were shipping yet. I just pre-ordered one a few mins ago from Knifecenter since they ship to Canada. I really hope I get one and they didn't over sell their pre-orders.

Several people have received shipping notices from dealers, I don't recall if anyone has received a package yet or not. I think Cameron_ picked up his at the factory store. A few dealers got their knives and sold out very quickly. Other dealers seem to be taking preorders with knives to be shipped relatively soon.

Around 0:55-1:00 Eric Glessers explains that it has a set of small liners at the pivot.

On topic: The lightweight S110v Manix is an incredible value and I might just have to snag one!

I will have mine via USPS tomorrow.

Thanks. I figured there had to be something in the pivot area.

I haven't had any issues with FRN Nd for a solid work knife it's pretty hard to destroy or ruin it. This calls for a blade swap.

Do you know if you can remove the blade from the lightweight with the torx pivot, without removing the rivots? I would love to switch the S110V with S30V.

Looking at my Manix2 XL, it looks like you can slip a nail in ahead of the ball cage if you hold it back while opening the knife. That should hold the ball in place while you swap the blades. Maybe :D
