There are already several cases of broken-off tips and today and this:

Man swears he was not batoning only slightly strained side blade.

PS Problem knives of the following series that Manly were done under steam in the first series.

Mine is holding up well. Cuts very well. and that is all i do with it. I'm cutting.

Anything made by someone can be broken by someone else.

The blade is thin at the tip and at the edge, combined with the high hardness should be a warning that bending the blade and prying with a tip is not a good idea.

Hahaha. I like the one guy's idea of sharpening the broken area and using it as a cigar guillotine. :D I agree with ioerror, though, that given the blade's steel, hardness, and geometry, it's a pure cutter, not a wood splitting tool. I would still like to have one of these eventually. :thumbup:

thanks!
it's a fact that bulgaria made some pretty good quality small arms;
so a less complex pocket knife should be no problem at their end.
I believe the Bulgarian made AK -47 were considered some of the top quality ones. Not small arms too :)

I think I'll get a worked spine model, the price is right and the looks are great.

Hi all,

After some use at home and at work, the knife performs well. I've been cutting mostly thin plastic, nylon, packaging foam, cardboard boxes (opening, modifying), bit of rope, food.
It is a thin blade that goes easy through materials. I haven't tortured the knife and i try to keep it clean and dry. It has few little shiny spots, but i cannot say that the knife is dull. It is still cutting easy. No force required.

Carry is usually in the jacket pocket or in a pouch on the belt. It is lite in the pocket and not wide on the belt.

Comfortable in the hand and not that hard to open and close with two hands (i'm a fan of one hand opening).

It is a good blade.

Something interesting from Manly. A fixed knife made for the bladeforum.bg . Awsome knife. CPM 154
