I bought one that my son wanted. He carried it for a while and now he carries a Tenacious and says that it is a better all-around knife.
 
Their "classiest" gentleman's folder is quite a piece of work, tactical while still remaining classy. Makes a Mnandi blush don't you think?

I have been intrigued myself about the Mantis Pit Boss. I like the shape of it, but have no clue at all about the quality or worth of it. With the company having a terrible rep, being the slightest bit intrigued makes me feel ashamed to call myself a knife collector.

There are a lot of Stout Little Knives around. Check out the Benchmade Sibert 755 and the Kershaw Half Ton. for example.
