Today I am trading a few knives that I just don't carry much (or at all). First up is my Spyderco Paramilitary 2 DLC/Digicam. Never used, hasn't cut a thing, but I did clean it for near perfect action and lightly sand the handles (they were SUPER coarse). Blade has been sharpened to a dangerous edge for those unfamiliar with the compression lock (last drop almost hit an artery, so this knife is gone). Centering is a bit towards nonlocking side, but is not close to rubbing, and lockup is dead solid. A hair of lateral play if you really force it. TRADED
Second is my Spyderco Leafstorm. Full disclosure, this knife has been notched by Spyderco and carries no warranty... The pocket clip also somehow broke. The blade is also a good deal (about .5") shorter than new. Lockup is solid, no play. This one will definitely be trading for way under value (but don't try and screw me, I'm not desperate to trade it). A stop pin screw was stripped by Spyderco, I Loctited it in place so it doesn't fall out. Consider this a budget classy looking small folder.
Third is my Spyderco Manix 2. No real wear on it, but the box is gone. Blade was sharpened by me and the action was fixed up to be smoother than my Mini Grip. The blade is S30V. TRADED
Fourth is my HK Conspiracy folder. Just under like new condition because of two small barely there rubs on the blade and one scratch on the titanium. Razor sharp factory edge, perfect lockup with good centering. Smooth action. I cannot see why nobody has jumped on this knife before.
Fifth is my Cold Steel AK-47. Blade, clips, and lock bar have all been stripped (blade was done by previous owner, everything else done not as well by me). Lockup is the normal bank vault, centering is good, and blade was sharpened on a precision system. Handles were lightly sanded, especially under clips. The knife waves perfectly.
Sixth is my ZT 550. I tinkered and tinkered to perfect the action, while minimizing lateral play. Lock is a bank vault, and the stick issue has been eliminated. This knife is a nearly perfect example of a 550, especially since the washers were polished. Blade is a sterile ZT replacement, sharpened by RichardJ.
Seventh is my Shadow Tech Knives Dayhiker. Blade has not been used, just carried a bit. It was sharpened by me a few times, only to improve on the already good edge on it, now the edge is wonderfully convex. The sheath is a limited run carbon fiber print. I will include paracord, a bead chain, and the gutted paracord that it came with for carry options.
Lastly, I have my OD Mini Grip. I love the knife, but just never carry it. No play, buttery smooth action, and blade sharpened by RichardJ. Knife has been carried a lot, and not really used at all. Blade has no discernable wear. TRADED
UPDATED: I am adding in my GEC Tidioute 23. The handles are some kind of bone (possibly steer? If anybody knows, please tell me even if you aren't interested) and the blades are drop (?) and clip point. Blades do have a small amount of rust that I will clean up, it only formed because I literally never use this knife and am honestly afraid to mess with it, since the last time got me a nasty cut on my finger. Blades have been sharpened on my Worksharp and are very sharp. The back spring isn't quite a nail breaker any more since it wore in a little, but it is still plenty strong, still stronger than most slip joints I see.
I am interested in most plain edge folders, but I would love to trade up. I am willing to trade up at a little bit of a loss, but please do not expect me to take insane offers (like all of my knives for a single Sebenza). No multiples, unless you want to trade something like your 2 for my 3.
Again, please no serrations or fixed blades. I don't like them and won't carry them. Photos to he added soon (but because of the number of knives the photos will all be group shots, ask for detailed pics).
