If that's carbon knife, then that looks totally worth it. orange and wood handle looks great too, like the grind too.

Cool. Strip off that ugly (IMO) paint job (I usually like orange, but that is an ugly color) and put a forced patina on it. Could be a winner winner chicken dinner.

I agree with you about the look, but you could argue that this knife was made with WS&S in mind... the orange blade(high visibility in the woods), sheath w/pocket, carbon steel, Mora-type price. I'm looking forward to handling it...
anyone know how thick the blade is? i kind of fancy modding one into a chopper for the kitchen
I think it is 1/8" (3mm) i think i clarified that w/ Joezilla last night on the chat.
thankssounds like it'd be about right if the edge was thinned down enough.
