March 2025 Buck of the Month - 112 S35VN Cerakote Drop Point Toxic Moss Camo Carbon Inlays

My March BOTM was in the mail today. Also the drop point replacement blade thanks Craig DOGPOUND77 DOGPOUND77 .
So a quick switch and we have exhibit A...

...or exhibit B...

weirdly I like it more in your pics than I did the factory marketing pics.
Jesse I was impressed with the entire package/knife when I took it out of the bag. I think Buck has upped their game in the Cerakote dept. It is a nice flat even 'thin' coating of Cerakote. The thumbstud is like a gem.

I don't know how it will wear compared to the others I have. Probably won't get any use from me in this life time. As it is originally, the knife is weirdly ugly and yet handsome and good looking.

I'm going to explore options for the replacement blade. As it is, stainless steel, I'd like it if it were not in such stark contrast to the knife.

Here's another photo, different lighting...

That camo carbon fiber really changes in different light! I think I'll still take Exhibit-A.

On a separate note; I've been hoping Buck would start offering carbon fiber scales in the Custom Shop, and for their Slim & Sport lines for some time now. Maybe this is a start in that direction.

I had been planning on purchasing a standard 112 Sport very soon, so when these came up I couldn't resist. Clip point would be my preference on these but I still love it.
I kept looking at the 112 Sports, but would much prefer the S35VN to the S30V. Too late now anyhow. I'm kind of hoping that they show up in the Custom Shop, with more blade/handle options.:)
