  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

March 8th Gathering At The JK Shop?

I got the brats - Jalapeno Cheese and Super Hots for those that dare.

I also picked up some more of the BBQ Beef Snack Sticks too - just in case we need more to eat lol -

I have a couple packs of hot dog buns as well.

Coming up guys!

It was another great time, and a couple of new people (well, regulars here but new to gatherings...) showed up!

I ran into some slick roads on the way up, which delayed my arrival, but I did get there second (darkmatter beat me once again! )

BJackson brought a ton of great stuff (including a few nice guns! ) and Joel (gradall ) brought several nice knives to give out to everyone, and a cool antique wall-mounted first aid kit that will become a fixture decoration at the JK Shop -

Food and drink is always a welcome part of our gatherings -

We had to use all of our bushcraft powers, all of our bushcraft skills, to put together our bushcraft camp-cooker. Whew.

is that mykes knife being used to light the fire as well?

thanks for sharing, looks like fun was had by all

Great bushcrafty skills demonstrated at the 2014 winter gathering!
Advanced skills without which you guys couldn't have possibly survived the terrible cold of the JK shop no doubt.;)

Thanks for the pics Andy,it's good to see the bushcrafter get a good workout, no doubt it was the key to ya'lls survival.
Well, that and your remarkable foraging skills... undoubtedly learned at past gatherings.

And no Pete, that's Andy's knife. (that he generously bid on to help Hanna's cause.)

It was a fun gathering, thanks John for having us. These gatherings really help brake up the daily routine of going back and fourth to work everyday.

Thanks to all who made the trip, I really enjoyed having you all there. Thanks to Joel for the sweet old time goodies to hang on the walls, and Andy for the brats, Brad for the Bloody Mary mix, and Sean for bringing the grill (which he Tom Sawyer`ed the others into building, nice move!), and whatever else I forgot. The big problem is these things go by too quick.

Was great meeting everybody! Liked that new Miller product beer! Excellant chili! When does the gas stop?
