I got a close look at this knife in little rock it is awesome. congrats on a great job to everyone involved.:thumbup:

Thanks Guys! We're off and running, and hopefully we will raise some good money for this most worthy cause.

This year's project is a followup to last year's success: John's then 12-yr-old stepdaughter Layla Taylor asked him to help her with a charity project. She was willing to orchestrate and work hard on it, if he would too. John, as the great parent and person he is, worked hard on a folder and had Layla doing some of the build.

This knife was raffled off and netted over two thousand dollars!

This year, John and Layla assembled an all-star cast of willing volunteers, and you see the results above.

It's a shame that we have to cross link to get intimate details of such a Worthy Cause, but that's a forum I moderate and have a vested interest.

My thanks to BF members for their participation and their support. My thanks to John and all the others to be included in such a good thing.

Thanks for the compliment, and thanks to all BladeForum members who have participated so far. Things have started out a little slow, which I am sure is due to this dismal economic situation:grumpy:, but we are gaining momentum:D Still plenty of time and chances left!!
 
While this is still on the front page I wanted to remind everyone that the drawing is a week from today, with the winner being announced the next day.There are still plenty of chances left if anyone else wants to participate. Someone's gonna win, it may as well be you!
