He gave me he best deal on some of his display knives, he is very honest and I got his knives a day after he recieved my money,
I look forward to dealing with him in the future
THANK YOU SO MUCH MARK....

Decided to use this thread since it was already started.

Just wanted to echo many of the comments made here and in many other topics that have been listed in the past.

Mark is a great guy to deal with.

I sent many emails, and called several times to get info. and pick his brain, he was more than willing to answer my questions, and never made me feel rushed, like he didn't have the time to deal with me, although I know he was really was at the time. (His sale going on)
I ended up placing an order and recieved the shipment without a hitch.

Great guy to deal with !
Many thanks mark, look forward to doing buss. again, real soon.

I second everything that is being said about Mark. He has a wonderful/great line of knives and he deals with each customer honestly and if there is a problem he works through it until you are satisfied.
I went through my knives, and I gotten a majority from Mark and will continue to do so.

I seem to be the odd one out here, but I have trouble getting him to return my calls. I keep getting an answering machine and I leave a message, then nobody gets back to me. I ordered a Native, plain edge, on 4/7/00 and was told that they would get new ones in on 4/10/00 and would ship. I called on 4/10 to check up and left a message. No return call. I called on 4/11 and left a message. No return call. I called on 4/13 and left a message and again on 4/14. No return calls. I sent an email on 4/17 and a return email apologized for the failure to deliver, saying that they had not received the shipment from Spyderco and that they were looking into it. I emailed on 4/18 asking when I might expect the knife and have heard no response as of 3:30 on 4/19. I have cancelled the order and obtained one from KnifeCenter. I do not understand why I have not been contacted.

Really?!?, no kidding. That's really odd. I'm sure Mark would have straightened everything up. Well, I guess maybe he was just busy or something. He's one of the best and most honest out there.

Dude, even if you have already gotten another one, I'd take him up on his offer. Otherwise, you have nothing to complain about.

It's actually good that this came to light. It gives Mark the chance to do what he does best...

Mark is my "go to" guy for knives. He brings an integrity to the business that I am learning not to question. Phoning him is hit or miss...he is really busy. I have found that email works. I often have a reply to email questions in a matter of minutes.

Hugh, I get "antsy" when I'm waiting for a knife to arrive...and sometimes I bug Mark to find out why there is a delay. He always replies and let's me know what's going on. One thing I believe is that Mark will not forget my order. He is as good as his word.

By the way, that's quite an offer. A Native at cost, free shipping....all because of a 10 day wait and busy phone lines. Jackyl is correct. Jump on it.

Mark, I thank you for your offer, but I have already committed to another one. For the information of others, the knife was to have been a gift for a friend's birthday, which was on 4/14/00, and that was the reason for the impatience. I would normally have been more patient, had it been for me, alone.

I, too am antsy to say the least, when waiting for a knife or anything else. I sent Mark an order and do to the gremlins of business, it was misplaced. However, Mark replied to every one of my many emails inquiring about my order. I'm in shipping and recieving and the gremlins are everywhere. My only thought was that the order had not made it there do to post office problems. Once it was found Mark imediatly emailed me to inform me the knife was shipped and appologized... With this level of customer service it more than made up for the short delay!! Mark has earned my future business.

THANK YOU, Mark!!

Do it right,or not at all.

Mark, not on this knife, I have now bought two for my two best friends as gifts. I carry my BF Native, so I feel no need for another 440V Native for my use. However, I shall give you first consideration when, and it will be when not if, I decide on anther knife. I don't know what it will be right now as the itch hasn't hit, but when it does, you'll hear from me, and I shan't be holding you to promised deals on a knife that I am not buying. Also for the record, I was very impressed with the service on the first of the two Natives that I bought and I really do appreciate your efforts to "make good" on this deal.

Selling knives is obviously not just a job to Mark. He will go above and beyond what is required to meet his customers needs. I recently ordered a Benchmade 850 but they were backordered. Mark managed to find one and shipped it to me ASAP. Great knife, great service - thanks Mark!

Once again I want to jump in here and say Mark has been great to deal with.

A few months back I did have trouble getting thru on the phone, and recently when I spoke with him he said he had fixed some of those problems, what ever they were, (phone companies yah no) and It's definitely been easier to get thru recently.
In any case keep trying it'll definitely be worth it.
Thanks Mark

The only problem with Mark is that he makes it TOO EASY to get the knives you want
smile.gif
. A few quick e-mails and the knives I want are at my door 2-3 days later. In the last 2 weeks I've gotten a Dalton, a Sebenza, and a BM 710, and I'm constantly bugging him about the BM42! I can't see how it's possible to get any better service. I thank you Mark, but my fiancee and my wallet do not

I agree with Troy. Mark can get anything I want (compulsive buyer here). Luckily, my last request is on back order, delaying payment a bit longer.

Troy and Tanat you are both wonderful people
and i thank you for all your support and of course your order's. now troy has been offered a very rare pacific cutlery balisong
lets see how his fiancee deals with this.
LOL.... you all are great people thank you.
