Bladeforums has given me so much and I decided that I should give something back. One of the things BF has exposed me to is custom knives, which have since become my favorites. There's nothing like knowing that someone put their own time and effort into making a unique piece specifically for you. I'm opening this giveaway to anyone who has never owned a custom knife so they can get a taste of the awesomeness of customs.
I was working with Matthew Markell on one of my designs that I wanted made, and I had the idea of doing this giveaway. So I talked to Matthew, and he offered to donate his talent if I covered the material cost. I was thrilled! I said he could make whatever he wanted, and he really delivered. He made a kiridashi with 3/32" 1095 steel, an epoxied flat cord wrap, a wicked sharp semi-chisel grind, and a kydex sheath.
Here's the rules:
I'll select the winner on June 25th using a random number generator. I'll ship out as fast as I can, so hopefully the knife will be delivered before the 4th of July. It would be pretty awesome to see some pics of the kiridashi with some fireworks and flags!
Thanks to Matthew Markell for making this giveaway possible, and thanks to Bladeforums for just being awesome!

- Your post number is your entry number
- Only one entry per person
- Pictures of your current favorite knife would be nice, but they aren't required
