The knife arrived today.

What a great little piece this is! I mean, I'm really impressed. I love kiridashi anyway, but this is the nicest one I've ever had. It's beautiful, and I love that it was made just to spec. I've owned some nice knives, to be sure, but a true custom has just not been in the cards for some reason. I've also never had a kydex sheath (somehow) and this one is great. It fits the knife perfectly. There's no rattling and it locks in place very securely.

I should have taken pictures of it with my hammer forged carving knives since this knife will probably live its life in that role (I already tested it, it carves beautifully) but I forgot to bring them outside. :o

Anyway, enough blabbing... Here are some pics!
