Martial Arts question

I understand. But you also have to understand that when you compete against Boats you are truly competing with the master. And while I wouldn't want to ruin your ambition, lets just say you were already out-done before you started :D

Truth! The mans got skillz that is for sure.:D

Saw this today, so i thought i'd post it here. If this goes on in that place, it is not a good place to train.
SERIOUSLY GRAPHIC VID!!! Dont watch unless your wanting to get pissed.

Copy pasted from other site.

Holy crap! Cold blooded, BARE HANDED murder on VIDEO!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Talk about taking things a little too far.....disturbing

In a shocking discovery, this brutal and graphic video has just not been posted to the internet. It is a video supposedly taken from December of 1984 in which Bobby J Blythe, a karate "master instructs his student to brutally beat an individual who is seriously mentally ill. This man was later discovered dead in a dumpster and Blythe was never charged.

The instructor Bobby J Blythe had this to say about the incident:

'This dummy was in my shopping center while I was on a Bodyguard Job in Washington, DC. This guy was in the Pizza Hut eating pizza off the plates of others and the Pizza Hut Manager ran him out with a pistol. Later the very same day, police officers were called to remove him from a nearby pharmacy after having been caught reaching into customer's purses. A short time after that, he visited a Napa Auto Parts store next to my Karate Dojo and told the management he planned on teaching in that Dojo and that Jesus taught him.

'The Napa guys told him he was confused (their polite way of warning the man against such action), but not wanting to miss a show, they told the man they would close early just to watch and that he must not know the owner, which is nobody to play with.. Needless to say, the police pulled him out of the dumpster behind my Karate Dojo where he was neatly placed. Semper Fi to all my Marine brothers. The karate student in the white is also a Marine Sgt. and a brand new Black Belt. Never get stupid with a Marine, you could get jacked up and have your clock stopped. Thats all I know."

Well, in my opinion, that was about the worst "black belt" I have ever seen, both in discipline and in actual practice. I am by no means a ranked fighter in any style and I think I could have kicked that SOB's ass. What a piece of shit that absolutely has no control of himself in any fashion. If that kid was a friend or family member of mine, the courts would not need to go after that SOB.

This is one of the main reason I stay away from fighting styles. You give a man a title or a few skills and he thinks he has something to prove. In all honesty, most people who get into the martial arts feel they have something to prove. MA seems to be completely bastardized from what I would figure is its original intent. In short, I have little use for it.

I have to say i fully agree with everyword Jeff.
What a bunch of punks, you can see that the "blackbelt" was out of control when he lost control of his emotions..."MOTHERF#CKER!" and such followed by knees to the head.
I cant imagine just standing there and watching someone doing that and not stoping the peice of shit...when the kid said ok....dont do that again...or we are finish...or stop i dont want to fight you...it should have been done!

For me this kind of thing makes me want to train more and harder so i or someone else are never left to the mercy of someone as such, who obviously has not a bit of the stuff.
But i guess you understand what i am saying, werent you a leo jeff? If so wasnt that the same reason you were in that job feild, to keep people from taking advantage of others?

That right there folks is the friggin' light of truth shining down on all the pervading shit! Well put Jeff!:thumbup::thumbup:

I've done several MA's since I was a kid and mind you, growing up here in a "third world" county like ours, they weren't McDojo's by any means. I'd also been privileged to have learned from real talented folk, some by way of years of development, others by way of notoriety (re: guys who weren't exactly model citizens and had to develop skills out of "mortal" necessity).

Having said all that, you can not imagine all the insecurity, jealousy and ego that floats all over. Too many guys wanting to prove to the world, and themselves actually, that they're badasses who have a pair between their legs!

I think everyone in that class during that beating should be put in jail.

Sadly, the same reason many people get into martial arts is the same reason they get into law enforcement. This is not meant to bash good cops or all folks who get involved in the fighting arts, but it is the truth. I got out of LE for the same reasons I quit fooling with MA. Too much BS and egos. AGAIN, this is not meant to be a slam on LE. I have a lot of respect for LE and have found a lot of real professionals in the profession. They have a tough job, no doubt. Especially with all the bleeding hearts now controlling so much of what goes on.

Other than being a bit off, and having been one of the only ones among us that had personal intimate knowledge of jesus (just for a funny thought, lets say he really was one of gods people ?angel?, and did know jesus, those guys are gonna BURN BABY, i mean they are gonna FRY like KFC chicken, i didn't detect one once of compasion in anything, from anyone)

I think the guy was actually pretty decent, other than having a strange inclination to go into a dojo(if you can call it that) and confront the class with an offer to instruct.

Personally I think its a fake video, anything to get a rise out of folks (some people even think its good fun), its one of the reasons I am tiring of the internet, present company exlcuded of course. :D

I would just about agree with you on it being a fake. I only saw it through the point he was on the ground and was kicked a couple of times and the video quit. I had had enough and didn't try to view the rest. Again, even if it's fake I was not impressed with the black black belt at all.

If that guy was an angel, then God needs to seriously upgrade.

I think they were both pretty terrible.

As I said on another thread about this video, I don't think it's a fake, and I'll be very interested to see what followup will be done by the authorities.

So, you didn't see the part where he was kicked in the throat and started to death-snore as they were dragging him to the back door?

I can empathize to some degree the difficulty that one within LE faces when attempting to remain un-jaded. It’s a fact that everyone is innocent and just in their own minds eye so every time a cop is called to play babysitter to someone incapable of following the rules he must endure a 2hr profession of innocents from an individual with coke all over his nose and a pop gun behind his back……Thus some LEO’s become accustom to liars and begin assuming all to be such, their fore losing that neutral quality. Then you just got another egotistical asshole with a sense of entitlement. Or a LEO that is scared enough to shoot a bit to quick...
Or things such as the King incident begin happening; both sides are totally f’ed… Guy breaks the law – Cops have been dropping left and right and are sick of the shit so they take it out on the dude.
(could be way off on that, account of it. I’m sure someone will deservingly correct me if im wrong.)
So then the people get in an up roar and break the law some more hurting others...wtf.
people are fu#king animals.

No, the video (internet) quit downloading around the time he went down on the ground and was being kicked in the head. I don't care to see the rest of it. I'm not into this type of thing. Seen enough people die for no reason and it still doesn't impress me in the least to see someone get the hell beat out of them, get shot, or anything similar.

This happened in 1984 .

If it happened in 84, maybe the black belt and the master of the school have already died form prostrate cancer by now.

Agreed, but I hate to say it but I visited a couple of stuidos/Dojo's back in the 70's and 80's that were like that. Plenty of places would have a period of time where they would kick the crap out of newbies, probation period. Til another newbie came along. thou never as far as this guy went, and have one or two friend that ended up in the hospital checking out a dojo back in those days. Even some of the rougher boxing gyms have had issues with things like this. Probably one of the reasons I was so gunshy about checking out the Aikido locally. This "blackbelt" was amazing in not only his lack of any kind of fighting technic, but also in his lack of any kind of disicpline. Embaressment to the USMC. (it he really served in the USMC).

And honestly, it is no secret that mentally ill, special needs people are treated badly all over. Look at the morons that just recently got popped for making the mentally disabled patients fight each other MMA at the group home, or the parents that straved their own austistic daughter to death. Compassion for those who need it most is in very short supply in this world.

Again I agree 100%. The total lack of reguard for human life is appauling. Not something I would normally watch, and I have a hard time stomaching. It especially hits close to home for me, being the parent of a mentally retard child. Sigh.
