I prefer vodka martinis to gin martinis, and just a little bit dirty. For the dirty martini I prefer Tito's Handmade vodka from Austin Texas which is 6 times distilled old fashion style, or Viking Fjord vodka from Norway made from potatoes, both of which can be sipped, kept in the freezer along with the glasses. 2 "Mario Spanish Queen Olives" and a splash of the juice, and an eighth of a jigger of dry vermouth, your choice, lightly shaken, not stirred. If you run out of juice but still have plenty of olives you can buy good olive juice in a bottle by itself from the Santa Barbara Olive Company... Awesome! But for the granddaddy of all martinis-- use XO vodka, kept in a freezer with the glasses, 2 eyedropper dots of dry vermouth, 2 of the olives mentioned before and NO olive juice, as will destroy the exquisite taste of this perfect Vodka. Enjoy!!!
 
the secret is to always keep your olives wet, so when you mix your martiti, whether you use vodka or gin, only add the same amount of olive juice to the drink that the two olives displaced when you removed them.

in other words for you people like me that got kicked out of kindergarden for drinking...

if you remove two olives them you must remove the same amount of juice that they dispalced.

the doctors call it "odd" or "olive displacement desiese" it really doesn't effect most peoplt but it does effect those who expect perfectinon from theire knives.

ive been fighting this for years ... believe me...

my moto... an olive in the bush is worth two in the hand.

thats why we have a beaver shortage here in idaho..

dirty...............only way to drink one for me.....Frank rocked but it is the most popular drink as far as a martini goes for the 30 to 40 age group....Jennifer Aniston LOVES them well at least what she said on Oprah..........Well I like a really good Martini but Coors Light still rocks!!!!

yes, how well i know, miss aniston and i were pretty tight in high school...

well... i mean a lot more than tight :o

we were bussom buddies.. well i mean a LOT more than bossoms :o :o

we used to take baths in martinis, yeah,,, the good ol days...

than she started running around on me... bad deal...

adios to her, time to move on i said...
