Yes, the black ram's horn is really special :thumbup:

Very Done Paul. I can't say that I recall seeing that color of rams horn before. I like it. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful work Paul, I'm a fan of the new maker's mark placement/font and sizing you chose. What a beauty~

Paul, you are doing great, excellent job on those pins without out sanding the black ram bark!!!!

- yep, think you're right........as Paul has just told me himself, "It's a b****r to work, it stinks and curls like a banana if you even get it too warm". :D

Just tickled one of Paul's pics through Photoshop and the texture really shows here...

Thanks to everyone for your kind and generous comments, it always makes me smile! The black Rams Horn was a bit different for this knife, but the owner is very happy, so must be doing something right.

All the best to you all.

Paul

Hey Paul, I've gotta let you know that this thread, with all your photos, is just about the best thing I've seen on the ol' Internet in quite some time.

Your work is outstanding, and your choice of materials is really creative and intriguing.

So happy I logged in today and stumbled across it!! :thumbup:

out of all the handle materials Rams Horn for me edges out the others .
Now it seems Black rams Horn has edged that out.
Choice.:thumbup::thumbup:

I like your knives, there is a very nice flowing between handle, bolster and blade.
I appreciate a lot also the minimal exposed tang...often it is left to much out to contain the stamp
