Master USA vs Benchmade

I saw your comment before this one, that stated you wouldn’t need the blade lock because the knife would not open unexpectedly. I have a nasty wound on my pinky finger from when my mini-Barrage opened itself in my pocket and I reached in to my pocket for my phone. The tip up blade was open like a V in my pocket and sliced deep down my pinky along the side. Those blade locks come in handy!
Thanks for telling me that, I'v put back the lock when I assembled the knife, but I was close to give up because this part of the assembly was frustraitingly difficult for me. Anyway, I have the lock in place, and it works smoothly.

Glad to hear it. It’s more for the assisted version of the knife but it’s good to lock the blade opened as well too. But if you deassisted the knife, not too much to worry about

Thanks, but I like the feeling when holding it, andI have no intention the knife to be EDC or to take it outdoors, so the scales are just fine for me.
Do you have any names or links to the aftermarket scales for the 580?

"ALL GOODS WORTH PRICE CHARGED." Should be a placard above a whore house.

Don't think you can go wrong with a Benchmade ~ you can go toooo far with options and effects that will drive the price up to a monthly Mansion payment ~ But any basic one will do the Trick once you figure out the model you need .

I eradicate all zombies and undead with a Master knife.

For apples and boxes, I stick with a Benchmade.

It really depends on the circumstances of your particular situation but Master knives are preferred for not real objects; fewer lock failures.
