A female customer ordered a damascus hunter and filet knife set for her husband on his birthday. All she told me was "he likes red on his knife handles." I ended up making three sets [more efficient]. I liked them so much, I'm keeping one of the sets for myself.
The set that is pictured here is for sale. Both of these knives are from the same damascus bar. The handle material is from the same block of stabilized red mallé burl, water buff horn, copper and black fiber spacer, make up the material list.
The blades are finely ground, clay hardened, tip and edge tested [by me]. The damascus is flawless.
