matriarch

Wow!!! a sprint run of the Matriarch!! You know life can be really good sometimes :D

I've wondered for a long time as popular as the Civi and Matriarch are as to why they haven't did a lot of those 2 models in PE. There are a few ( and I mean really few ) PE Civilians from years ago. But a PE Matriarch won't be on my "WISH LIST">>> No it will be on my "GOTTA HAVE LIST"

I still say that the Matriarch and Civi both are models that would really benefit from having a laminated blade.

But I won't complain if they are VG-10 or ZDP-189. It will still be a home run with runners on base

I like it... hope to be able to get one over here (NL) for a reasonable price :)

Otherwise I'll go for the black handled SE Spyderhawk in H1. If it comes with a black handle, that is...

That's really pretty Brother :) Yeah I had 2 of those in the original glossy CF handles. Sold both of them for big $$ but wish I would have kept one of them :(

If they are indeed going to hit the market with some PE Matriarch models this year I'll have to have at least 2>> i.e. one for the collection and one for JD to carry :D

Normally I like Hawkbills much better in Spyderedge but I just know in my gut that a PE Matriarch will truly be a paramount EDC

The Great Spyder Factory is hitting us with so much good stuff here in the past year that I'm beginning to believe that a 6 digit a year job won't even support me anymore :D

But it's a really good problem and I'll find a way to deal with it.

Bring on the PE Matriarch

Current cost of a Civilian in SA is $400 plus. Have seen them for as much as $500. These have always been expensive. I can therefore see that there would have been a need for a cheaper version in SA.

Sadly, there have not been any Matriarchs in SA for some time. A sprint run would really be nice, but the original concept of affordability should be followed, i.e. FRN handle and VG10 steel.

That would be really special.
