4 1/2” x .230” D2 blade, 9 1/4” OAL, kydex sheath Tek-Lok, Darryl Bolke
From Japanese Knife website KM-930 D.B. Collaboration "An Ultimate Police Tool" This is the first collaboration model with Mr. Darryl Bolke, a noted knife defence instructor and designer (Darryl Bolke profile for Kiku.pdf). This is a compact size, but heavy duty and tough Tactical knife with 4-1/2" D-2 Hamaguri-ba blade with reinforced tip to withstand any hard uses in every situation. Long false edge and thumb notches on the back. 4-3/4" hand contoured Black Canvas Micarta handle with lanyard hole and notched butt.. Comes with hand fitted Kydex sheath with Tek-Lok Belt device.
D-2 Blade in 6.0mm thick, 110mm blade, 230mm overall, weight 260g
“I ended up collaborating with Kiku on a "Kiku DB" Model. It is different from previous knives I have worked with makers on in that it has more of a weapon priority over utility. The priority was for the blade to be able to both stab and cut in any grip, in any direction.” Darryl Bolke.
