That’s still one of my favorites. There’s a LOT of hand-laid carbon fiber on that one. That lace is pure hell to do. It wants to fray on you at every turn, every pull, every fold. Never gets easier.

Looking back, now, I’m not even sure how I managed to pull that off as well as I did. Getting the terminations aligned at the joint where the handle and the saya meet SUCKED. Never to be done again!
