I have had the personal honor and pleasure of looking at about half a dozen of Matt's knives from 6 feet away. The strict Covid era distance protocol comes as a condition for ogling over Matt's knives. My life feels so much richer for that single event experience

That one was made from the first heat of CPM Magnacut. I kind of think before the steel had an official name. Maybe the third or fourth blade I’d made from it. Can’t remember now. Richlite guard/bolster thingie, titanium spacer and pin, frame handle with old old old cocobolo I got from a master woodworker that worked for decades at Kittinger Furniture.

The handle felt truly superb in hand.
