Just curious, for you TW-90 owners/users: is the rotating-to-horizontal feature of the TW-90 something that is an occasional convenience, or something you use on many/most blades you make?
I noticed that the one wheel (tension wheel?) is in contact with the abrasive side of the belt. With metal and dust and stuff, is this going to wear the belt faster or the wheel itself? Just asking, I'm not a grinder guru.

I use it on every knife.
After I cut out the blank, I flip to horizontal to get the profile dialed in. Then I surface grind in the horizontal position.
